Moon

The moon took a hard hit yesterday from a 400kg as the large object collided with it. The meteor moving at 61,000 km/h impacted the moon with enough force to create a 40 meter wide crater. The impact created a flash that was seen from earth. The impact was equivalent to 15 tons of TNT and was first seen by a Spanish Telescope. "This impact … shows that the rate of impacts on our planet for rocks of this size, around one metre in diameter, is about 10 times greater than we thought."

poop

Ever been to a drive through and thought that your drink tasted a bit wonky? Now there is a study out in Florida that shows that the ice they put in your drinks is dirtier than toilet water collected from the same restaurants. The most likely cause of the bad ice is uncleaned machines or dirty hands. People may not wash their hands before scooping ice, spreading certain bacteria, such as E. Coli. It seems as though toilet water is pretty gross, but its actually bacteria free, thanks to water filtration.

Don't count your eggs before they hatch.

LaGrange, Wisconsin,  what a lovely place to own a factory with hundreds of thousands of chickens, right? Wrong. On the first of February, a horrendous fire broke out where the chickens lives were put in jeopardy. Although firefighters rushed to the scene, they could not save the chickens trapped inside. Over 300,000 chickens perished that day. It was a sad day for the farming community and shall be a day shrouded in missed opportunity. Think about how many chicken wings they could've made.
